Volunteer Policy Update: volunteers in certain placements will be required to be fingerprinted and have a clear Department of Justice background check, per CA State Ed Code. BSV will be set-up at some time this school year to perform the fingerprinting (at no charge to the volunteer.) Any volunteers in these types of placements will be notified once we are set-up to start fingerprinting. If you have any questions about how this may affect you or your program, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
