Erin Rhoades, Executive Director
Erin Rhoades has been the Executive Director of the Berkeley Public Schools Fund since 2013. Erin grew up in Berkeley, has two children in the public schools and has a background in city planning. Erin believes that strong communities rely on strong schools and loves the work of engaging the community in supporting public schools and their extraordinary potential.
Ariana Cohen, Director of Berkeley Schools Volunteers (BSV)
Ariana officially joined the Schools Fund in 2010 after volunteering in their office for a few months. Prior to this she worked in Specialty Finance before becoming a stay-at-home mom to The Boy, a 7th grader in one of Berkeley’s public schools. In her “spare” time, she volunteers with The Marine Mammal Center and loves exploring the Bay with her husband and son on their 1938 Monterey fishing boat.
Diane Dew, Finance Manager
Diane has been with the Schools Fund since 2006 as Finance and Grants Manager. She has worked in non-profits and small businesses since the 1990s, and before that she worked as a systems analyst and computer programmer. Her passion is photography, and she brings that skill to the Schools Fund as well.
Valerie Kratzer, Development Coordinator
Valerie has been with the Schools Fund since March 2016. She’s been the Chief of Domestic Operations for 12 years at her household and spent this time increasing her skills through volunteer efforts at Jefferson Elementary PTA especially in event coordinating. She has a background in Communications.
Jane Won, Communications Coordinator
Jane has been with the Schools Fund since February 2017. She has been in Education for over ten years teaching middle school english, high school psychology, and now math to adults. Having been in the classroom, she loves being an advocate for teachers and students and lending them a voice to tell their amazing stories of what’s happening in Berkeley schools.
