District Preschool TSA/ECE Coach Louise Rosenkrantz presented Literacy Fiestas for preschool families. She wrote in her grant proposal: “At the request of our 21 classroom teachers we are working to strengthen our book lending program. Among the areas they have asked us to enhance are two areas addressed by this grant: 1. outreach to families around the importance of reading at home daily and 2. teaching families specific skills and attitudes around reading aloud to their young child.”
