COVID-19 RELIEF

During COVID-19 and school closures, we are focusing our efforts on meeting basic needs for students and families and ensuring that all students are equipped for distance learning. Contributions from the Berkeley community, through donations and volunteer hours, are being directed to address the inequities in educational access that are heightened during this crisis.

Today, as always in our 37 year history, 100% of our funding comes from you: community members wishing to make Berkeley schools the best they can be.

Each year the Schools Fund provides $1.5 million in grants and in-kind donations to all schools in the Berkeley Unified School District. These funds support 10,000 students, 19 schools and 850 teachers with over 400 grants and projects each year!
