We visited Ms. Bergan’s class at King Middle to observe a session of Be a Scientist, which is a collaboration between UC Berkeley scientists, grad student volunteers, and King students. Each student chose his or her own experiment and tests and records the results over a period of several weeks. Cal grad students assist with projects and help explain the science. We love being able to fund amazing projects like this!
